For those who loves Japanese type of curry, well you might want to step your feet on the new comer in Japanese Curry restaurant, which located in Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta.
Yeap we are talking about CoCo Ichibanya Curry House which, believe it or not, is the largest Curry House franchise, originally from Japan. Opened in 1978 for the first time and located in the suburbs of Nagoya, today, CoCo Curry House has turned into more than 1300 outlets in Japan and worldwide, what a surprise!
Just like the name, CoCo Ichibanya Curry House, only provide selections of curry as the main course, but that’s enough for me, as in here, you can choose on your own the portion of the rice, the spiciness level (from mild to level 5), and available from meat, seafood, omelette, or even mixed. Oh except for the omelette which is can’t be customized. Can’t get enough? Worry less, as you can always ask for additional topping!
Saying it shortly, CoCo Ichibanya was great, I loved all those 4 menus that I tried on that day. The curry sauce was thick, and has a bold taste compared to other Japanese curry which tend to be sweeter. The omelette was soft, chicken was nothing to complained about, and the creamed mushroom was also lovely. If I may give a suggestion, for those who loves a bit spicy one, give a try for their level 3 up, and add some more of their spicy powder which available on your own table.
Another must try topping! Creamed Croquette (2pcs IDR 18k+).
Been here 2 times, and I just love it!
