A Better Experience At BonChon Chicken Indonesia

Jakarta Restaurant - BonChon Chicken Citywalk

This story is not come from my first experience at BonChon Chicken, I’ve ever had and experience BonChon Chicken quite  few months before in one of their branches in Living World Mall Alam Sutra. BonChon chicken is a fast food restaurant that specializing on Korean style fried chicken (should we call it KFC – Korean Fried Chicken?)

Firstly opened in Grand Indonesia Mall, this fast food restaurant is quite grabbing people’s attention with their concept. a crispy yet healthy fried chicken is what they claimed by really maintaining the quality of the raw chicken from he supplier, cleansing procedure using filtered water and using fruit extract as one of the ingredients in their sauce.

Well, speaking of food, honestly, I was quiet disappointed by the quality of their product there in Living World Alam Sutra. The chicken was not hot at all when served to me, yet it was not juicy at all, and not crispy enough. Totally different with what they have claimed. I feel like that the chicken was already processed and ready like an hour before, then they just serve it to their customer, such a bad experience.

But I believe that there’s always another chance, so a few weeks ago, I tried BonChon chicken again, but in a different place. That chance went to BonChon Chicken in Citywalk Sudirman. I had a package of strips box with rice, and additional mix spicy chicken, and completed by BonChon power pack.

I can say that, that time, I finally had a much better experience compare to the first one in Alam Sutra. The chicken was crispy enough, even though that the chicken was not really that hot. Yet, I can feel the chicken was juicy and the home made chili glaze was good enough as well. For the additional one, I love the original BonChon bites that came with soy garlic sauce. It was crispy and delicious, just like a small snack which you can get by purchasing an additional package for only Rp.10.000+ including 2pcs of mochi ice cream after you bought any of BonChon box package.
